Writing by BJ has been published in major outlets such as Yahoo! Canada, Esquire, Playboy, Lonely Planet, Ravishly, Xtra, and TIME. They have worked with brands including Avocadoes from Mexico, Giddy, Care Of, Contently, Wiley, Gilead Sciences, Marriott, and Choice Hotels.
Throughout their career BJ has also received support in the form of grants and scholarships from the Trans Journalists Association, the National Institute of Health Care Management, the American Society for Journalists and Authors, and the "Out of the Binders" Conference.
